Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM)

Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) was formed in 1983 and conducted a 22 year-long war against the regime in the north, culminating in the signing of the peace agreement in 2005. Today, SPLM are the leading party in the semi-autonomous state of South Sudan and working with the transition to being a civil party. At the same time, they are trying to build up service provision for the population in one of the world’s least developed areas.

See SPLM's website for more information.
