Mine Action
70 countries are affected by landmines and cluster munitions. We work in 18 of them.
In addition to practical mine and cluster clearance, NPA engage in political advocacy work against these wapons. We were central participants in the work to develop and implement ban treaties against both landmines and cluster munitions.
The Government of South Sudan has developed a five year strategic plan to address problems posed by all kind of explosive remnants of war, land mines, explosive ordinance and cluster bombs.
