Director's Message

It is now exactly two decades since the direct involvement of NPA in Southern Sudan implementing much needed relief, humanitarian and development projects.


Food Security & Rural Livelihoods

The NPA Food Security and Rural Livelihoods Programmes continued in 2006 with the overall goal of “Contributing to the right of the rural poor communities of South Sudan to have improved livelihoods”.


Humanitarian Mine Action

NPA has been engaged in Mine Action in South Sudan since April 2004. The objective of the programme is to ensure that mines are no longer an obstacle for development in South Sudan.


Health Programme

The NPA health programme started in 1992 and continued in provision of the curative services in the three hospitals through 2006. These are Yei Hospital in Yei town — Central Equatoria State, Chukudum in Budi County, Labone Hospital in Magwi County in Eastern Equatoria State.
