Mine Action Programme
The programme is implemented in Bosnia & Herzegovina (BiH) and Croatia, with offices in Sarajevo and Benkovac.
Bosnia & Herzegovina
In BiH, our priority is to clear areas for return of internally displaced refugees and reconstruction of the infrastructure in Sarajevo. The programme works with survey of mine-infected areas and make use of manual mine clearing, mechanical support and specially trained mine detection dogs.

Croatia Programme
Started in 2001, and Norwegian People’s Aid is the only humanitarian organisation working with mine clearing in Croatia. Areas
to be cleared by Norwegian People’s Aid are assigned by CROMAC, the Croatian state organ for coordination of mine clearing
in the country, in cooperation with local authorities.
Our priority is to clear areas for return of internally displaced refugees and agriculture, so that the population could be
able to start a normal life again.

Media Programme
Supports free, local media, production groups, media organizations, associations and networks.
Norwegian People’s Aid has been supporting independent media in former Yugoslavia since 1996. The programme supports and implements
various activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. more >>
Women Can Do It!
Is a programme of co-operation with the Norwegian Labour Party Women and, since 2002 it is being implemented in co-operation with local organizations in Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo province, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania and Moldova from 2005. more >>

Is a regional programme supporting youth initiatives in SEE. Current focus is on regional networking, youth antidiscrimination, demilitarization and initiatives in schooling system and local communities. more >>
Retraining of Human Rights Practitionairs in SEE

Integration and awareness of the Roma population. Through partners, we support various activities, among others, to increase children's possibility for attending school. more >>
Return and Reintegration Programme
Return for Croatian Serbs who want to come back to their homes in Croatia. They get support to rehabilitate their housing according to minimum standards. They are also provided tools and material so that they could make use of their land again. more >>
