The goal of this project is to work against all forms of racial- and ethnic intolerance, prejudice and discrimination, and to work for participation, representation and respect for all members of the society.

Norwegian People’s Aid policy document: Anti-racism programme
Every day, people in Norway are discriminated because of their religious, cultural or ethnic background, be it in the labour market, the housing market or in other areas. The fight against racism and discrimination is one of the areas to receive particular attention within the organisation. Here you can read NPA's policy document for anti-racism.

Fighting racism through Racism-free Zones
The concept of Racism-free Zones started in 1998 with co-operation between the Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) and the Confederation of Norwegian Trade Unions (LO) in response to discrimination in public bars and other places of public entertainment, where people were sometimes denied entry because of their colour, religion or cultural background. Since 1998, Racism-free Zones has spread to several areas and enterprises.
