Preparedness and rescue work

Norwegian People's Aid carries out a wide range of activities in Norway. To a large extent these activities are carried out by the 11 000 members of NPA's more than 100 local groups.

The main activity for our local groups are prepardness and rescue services, this includes ambulance services, providing assistance when major accidents occur. Search and rescue operations when people go missing or medical and first aid services during major events.
