Action Committee for Democracy Development (ACDD)

Initially Action Committee for Democracy Development (ACDD), a coalition, involved the collaboration of six different organizations at the Thai Burma border in order to support their partner networks inside Burma. The work of ACDD initially begun in 2010 and in 2013, ACDD has moved its base back to Burma and change its organizational formation to network membership based. ACDD aims to foster the long-lasting peace that can guarantee equality and self-determination of ethnic nationalities through substantive political dialogue based on national reconciliation, to cultivate the culture of human rights and democracy, to nature the rights based non-violent actions and to develop the civil society organizations.
