Staples Norway to quit selling SodaStream

Staples Norway announced today their plans to stop selling SodaStream in their stores.

–Norwegian People’s Aid and Fagforbundet have had a good dialogue with Staples about the production of SodaStream on occupied Palestinian territory. The decision to stop selling SodaStream products is one we applaud! Says Liv Tørres, Secretary General at Norwegian People’s Aid.

SodaStream’s main production facility is located in an illegal Israeli settlement in the occupied Palestinian West Bank. In using this facility for their production, and paying taxes to the settlement, SodaStream is supporting the illegal occupation of Palestine.
